Ref. 818 - villa La Rotonda in loc, Cotoncello - S. Andrea
The villa was designed and built by a Swiss architect for the Locarno Ambrosoli family in the late 1970s and stands out for its unusual roundness as well as its excellent location. The furnishings are still predominantly original. Over time it was purchased by Norwegian gentlemen, and finally by the current property that expanded it and made significant maintenance interventions. The villa overlooks the west side of the island and the sea can be reached on foot via a private road. The land surrounding the property measures over 3,500 square metres, completely fenced with a wrought iron entrance gate.
The villa is spread over two levels: on the ground floor a large bright living room, kitchen, bathroom and panoramic and habitable terraces. The first floor is reached through two internal staircases, one of which leads to the large and bright master bedroom with personal bathroom and panoramic terrace which is accessed through a glass door; the other staircase leads to a double bedroom and a single with bunk beds and a bathroom.
Both rooms overlook panoramic terraces with private entrances.
In the back of the villa there is a service corner with barbecue, marble workbench and sink. The villa is habitable throughout the year so it has all the necessary services and amenities.
The property is completed by an outbuilding located a few meters from the house with bedroom and bathroom.
